Here in Maryland we are having a crazy heatwave with three digit temperatures! It is unbearable so, lets talk about a stylish way to cover your gorgeous faces from the sun. Floppy hats! I love floppy hats they are so glamorous and charming. I prefer a the brim on my floppy hat to be at least 3 1/2 to 4 inches to add drama and extra protection against the damaging rays of the sun. I just finished painting my toe nails and I thought that I just have to share with you my new polish crush. So, I know I am so late on the Essie bandwagon but, Oh My Goodness I adore it. The color selection is wonderful and they apply great. Last week I did my nails and the color lasted four whole days before chipping. Now that is amazing especially since I wash my hands like a million times a day!

Morning Luv Bugs,

I wear mostly all dresses all year long but in the summer time my must have with my summer dresses and sandals are a lil shine on my legs. I always add a glisten to my legs with some body oil before I head out the door and it makes all the difference.

My two favorite products to add some sexy shine are:

Neutrogena Body Oil in the light sesame Formula (below) this is a dream come true. I put this one right out the shower and it is super moisturizing and not greasy at all. Bonus it smells Amazing!!

This one I really cannot be without it is my Vaseline Intensive Care Vitalizing Gel Body Oil with Brazillian Nut and Almond Oils. It adds the perfect amount of shine and makes my skin so soft.

Both are under $6 and add the perfect amount shine to my legs/ back/ arms and trust me it makes all the difference. So, go get your shine on!!!

Hello my fellow fashion lovers,

It is Tweed Tuesday! I received an email for Newport news today and was immediately impressed. I have to be honest I have never ordered clothes from Newport News but, this tweed has got my attention.

I love the look of this tweed pencil skirt, the length is perfect. And the removable, corsage ribbon belt is such a feminine detail!

This cropped tweed swing jacket is too adorable with 3/4 sleeves, patch style pockets this is so versatile.

Lastly, and my favorite is this strapless dress with a pleated neckline. I would add a cute belt around the waist on this for sure and again it is the perfect length.

No more snow...

If you live on the east coast you are under some serious inches of snow. We currently have 30 inches of snow on the ground from this weekend and between today and tomorrow are expecting another 16 inches. So, I have serious cabin fever and I think I am starting to hate snow.

Any who, I usually wear my rain boots in the snow but they do not keep my toes warm at all. So, I figured I would buy some snow boots. Now I am the kinda girl who needs a heel in her life almost all the time. It was very important that my boots have a wedge heel and I really wanted white boots cause I thought it would look so refreshing in the snow. Well one out of two requests aint bad.
Here is what I got:

I am pleased with my choice of these tall slightly puffy Guess boots.They have a rounded toe and four inch wedge and they are super comfy, stylish, and warm. My favorite part of these boots is the zipper up the front it is so chic.

They do come in white but they were sold out. I got these on sale for $40 at Macys regular price was $159.

So, I was in Nordstrom the other day I came across a fabo Junior Drake handbag and now I am infatuated! The quality of these bags is amazing and colors are so rich. I MUST own one.

Pashminas!
I love pashminas! I keep one with me almost all year long because they come in handy all the time. The are lightweight enough to keep in your handbag in the summer for that freezing cold restaurant. Yet warm enough to keep you cozy when the wind chill is below crazy. I saw some at my local mall for like crazy cheap this past week. They were like three for $20 with so many cool colors and prints to choose from. My boyfriend purchased me one from Afghanistan last year and it is so gorgeous.

This is really a touch of happiness! I have to be honest I have never really been a fan of Nivea products. Oh but now, I am because I really love this body wash. It is called a Touch of happiness and with its orange blossom scent and bamboo essence it is a keeper!
