So now to the goodies:

The box shipped USPS and was a lot smaller than I expected, well compared to Glossy Box.

It's a cute lil box. Wrapped nicely with the information card.
I was pleased with the contents!
The box contained:

  • Ojon Damage Reverse Restorative Hair Treatment Plus-  Full Size $33
Repairs cuticle damage, strengthens hair to prevent future breakage and instantly restores hydration and shine to hair. After just one treatment, it restores health to even the most deeply damaged hair.
  • Morgan Taylor Professional Nail Lacquer - Full Size $8.50
Inspired by luminous pearls, raw gems, semi-precious stones, glimmering silvers and radiant gold all drawn from the earth. This exclusive nail lacquer is infused with rare and precious elements. It is also free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, and DBP.
  • Damone Roberts Miss Ross Brow Shadow - Full Size $20
A soft black brow shadow that looks natural instead of extreme, this color compliments all skin tones for women of color. A sheer to medium opacity powder can also be used as an eye shadow or eyeliner.
  • Cuccio Naturale Butter Blends - Full Size $16
A rich and creamy non oily 24 hour hydration with 2 hour time release emollients that release moisture into skin slowly throughout the day.
  • Origins No Puffery -Full Size $25 This is not full size but it is a healthy sample
Win the battle of the bags with this cooling roll on for puffy eyes. Gently roll under each eye from inner to outer corner twice pat in with ring finger. It De-poufs puffs as it brightens dark circles.

Unfortunately my nail polish arrived with a cracked down the back but luckily it did not leak on the other stuff. Anywho, the lovely people at Black Girl Beauty reacted  quickly and, a new bottle is already on it's way to my house. Talk about amazing customer service.
After I posted a pic on Instagram of my box with the note that my nail polished was cracked. Within two days, I received replacement nail polishes along with a hand written note from the owner herself. Talk about amazing customer service! I am seriously impressed.

So, what do you think of black girl beauty? Black girl Beauty is only $20 per month and I cannot wait for my next box!

  2. I wish that I had received good customer service from this company. This was one of the most disappointing transactions that I have encountered. I was looking forward to this subscription, but I'll just buy what I want directly from the retailers, since they actually want to run a business!
