Mario Badescu - Vitamin C Serum
New to Mario Badescu's line is the Vitamin C Serum. Anyone who knows me knows I live for a good Vitamin C Serum. Vitamin C does wonderful things to your skin such as fighting wrinkles and building collagen. Young skin has tons of vitamin c but as we age oh so gracefully we lose some each and every day. Eating Vitamin C will help but you NEED it topically.
Badescu's Serum promises to protect skin from free radicals and aid in collagen production. This serum contains 7.5% Ascorbic acid I previously used Obagi's Professional C Serum which is 20%. So what does all that mean, basically just a higher amount of vitamin C goodness. You should see results within a few weeks and around a few months you will notice BRIGHT even toned skin. Please note you must use this as directed which is 2 to 3 drops on clean skin EVERY OTHER NIGHT. Otherwise you will experience some dryness.
After only one week of use I noticed a glow that was undeniable. I had a dark spot on my cheek that is slightly lighter. This serum is a keeper and should last for a every long time at two drop every other day.

Julep Maven - February
Julep's February box is all about the A list! Wrapped in gold tissue paper of course after all this is about the A-List.
Julep never disappoints with the pretty. The polishes were wrapped in black and gold and the box included a lash curler and chocolate hearts as a Bonus.
Julep included a Freedom polymer top coat and Oxygen Nail Treatment.
The Oxygen treatment retails at $18 a bottle . This treatment is a complete nail care and make-up all in one bottle for your tips! This contains their patented Hexanal formula and creates stronger, thicker, smoother nails. I am excited to try this and will be sure to update you all. My tips have been splinting lately so I hope this helps.
I can always use a top coat and Julep was on time with this one. Freedom promises to extend the life of you tips. Using natural light it creates a polymer shield the will prevent chipping for days and a gel like shine. Also retailing for $18 this sounds like it may be a favorite, I'll keep you posted.
Here are the two colors I received. Joan and Sally!
Joan is a raspberry plum color with gold shimmer and Sally is an antiqued ivory creme. I love them both.

January's Glossy Box - The Man Repeller
So, finally received my January glossy box in February. This box was high anticipated so I can image glossy had some issues getting them all out. so you are forgiven.
This month's theme was Winter Survival by the man repeller. Instead of the normal pink box we received a grey box with the man repeller on top.
All wrapped up in cute starred tissue paper and a personal note from Leandra herself, the man repeller.
There were a total of seven items in this box; two of which were full sized.
It contained:
A full size Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance Lipstick
A large sample size of Sebastian Potion 9 styling treatment
A sample of Le Métier De Beauté Replenishing Daily Solution
A sample of Narciso Rodriguez for her eau de toilette
A full size OPI Nail Lacquer Liquid Sand in Can't Let Go
A sample of Fresh Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum
A sample of Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara
and of course the January Glossybox Magazine.
I was excited to get a sample of this Le Metier De Beaute. This costly cream conditions, hydrates, nourishes and detoxifying your skin. I have heard good things about this line and the bonus of SPF 30 is great.
With it's over sized brush and fibers this sumptuous mascara is a winner.
Sebastian Potion 9 is a styling cream infused with 9 Botanical extracts to help restore lost moisture, and rejuvenate the healthy look of your hair. This was a healthy sized sample.
This perfume has hints of honey flower, musk and orange blossom is it okay hopefully it will grow on me.

OPI's Liquid Sand in a pretty purple. I wore it here and like it however it has nothing on Zoya's Pixie Dust!!
I was excited about this Fresh Mattifying Serum because your girl shines bright like a diamond all the time. This for normal to oily
skin is claims to tones and hydrates while minimizing the appearance of pores
and controlling shine. It is also proven to provide 24-hour antioxidant
protection.
The Tarte lipstick is a pretty red with hints of orange. The packaging is too cute.
Overall, it was a good box. I give it 3 out of 4 cups of Tia
So, now I am all ready for February's glossybox which has International Style as the theme.
