So, you get all the good stuff!

  • 1oz. Honey Body Balm
  • 1.6 fl. oz. Honey Shower Cream
  • 1 fl. oz. White Almond Body Cream
  • 1.6 fl. oz. White Almond Shower Cream
  • Clear Zip Top Bag

Perliers 8 piece try me travel set - $19.95 available at HSN

Over the last week I have been in Perlier heaven. All four of these are very moisturizing. The lather from the shower cream is great. I require a shower cream to have a good lather if I have to use a lot of product to get some suds I am not happy. After, my shower my skin did not feel dry but, I still used the body cream. The body cream felt wonderful and does it's job well. I felt moisturized all day.

This travel kit is a great way to try Perlier's products it will also help you decide which scent you prefer. I was not in love with the Olivaruim scent it reminded me of a shampoo I used to use. However, I liked the other three scents a lot. The Shea Butter with Citrus Extract and Honey were my top two faves. The Honey smells very clean and I love what Honey does to my skin. My skin also loves Shea Butter so, that one was lovely and it has subtle citrus notes.

If you would like to try this kit ($19.95) then guess what you can get $5 off any Perlier product with coupon code ifabbo5

Disclosure: This travel kit was sent to me for review purposes. As always, I am stating my honest opinion of the products.

Glossy box - May 2013

I got my May Glossy box last week and this is a "celebration" box to mark their one year anniversary (in the US). To celebrate, they included one full-sized product from their headquarters in NYC.
I have to be honest the whole trill of glossy box is wearing off for me. I used to love finding out what products I was going to receive and try out. However, lately, it is been kinda lackluster and blah.

This month's box included:

  • Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray
  • AmorePacific Color Control Cushion Compact
  • European Wax Center -The Exfoliate and Slow it Body Wash
  • My Prime - Multi-Purpose Mattifying Moisturizer
  • Etre Belle - Collageb and Aloe Vera Hydro Mask
  • Nicka K New York - Absolute! Perfume Stick

The Goods

Sebastian Professional Volupt Spray

I was a little upset about these super tiny samples. I doubt I can wash my whole body with this tiny body wash sample.

This Primer makes me happy; it has intense hydration and superior anti aging benefits with a Matte finish! An oily girls dream come true. Can wait to try this one?

These masks that are real masks feel so weird to me (I feel like Hannibal Lecter) but, this one sounds interesting. I think I will save this for the winter months when my skin is on the drier side.

This is the item from New York. The Nicka K New York Absolute Perfume stick. I am not a stick perfume girl but, this smells pretty yummy. This is full size - $14.99.

I was both excited and disappointed with this Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact. I have heard so many good things about this compact and was so happy to see it in my box. This is a multi-tasker; it  has powerful broad spectrum SPF, deep hydration and complete coverage. It is a cool sponge inside and I mean cool temperature wise so, it is perfect for hot day touch ups. However, glossy decided to send it to me in the lightest color available it is like a cruel joke. This is like the third time they has teased me like this. I really want to send them a letter with my picture and say "Stop playing, I am chocolate" I mean on my profile I listed DEEP and skin tone.
Overall, I am not too happy with this box it has some good stuff and some bad. I really wish glossy would just let you pick your color in certain items like nail polish and make up so, that you can actually use your goodies. Also, if they would let you omit certain items like hair spray (seriously Glossy please no more hair spray!) and blush.

What do you think?

EXTRASHADE Sunscreen Review

I was recently given the opportunity to try Extrashade sunscreen and I jumped on it. If you are not familiar with Extrashade check out the excerpt below from their website:

"EXTRASHADE, LLC. produces daily defense maximum broad spectrum sun protection for optimal skin health and total wellness. Our sunscreen combines advanced formulations infused with vitamins, botanical extracts, essential antioxidants and high-grade protective ingredients to restore and strengthen your skin. These products are used not only by individuals who want a barrier from the light spectrum, including UVA/UVB, but by those who are concerned about maintaining their skin’s healthy appearance."
I was particularly interested in Extrashade sunscreen because it promises sun protection for rich complexions and, I have a rich complexion. Most people with rich complexions do not believe that need to wear sunscreen and that is simply not true.

My main issues with sunblock are I hate the ones that are cakey and leave my face looking white. I also prefer a sunscreen with at least a SPF of 30 and protects my skin from UVA and UVB coverage.

I really liked the consistency of this product it is creamy but, not super thick. It blended into my skin with no problem and works great under your makeup

I am quite impressed with this sunscreen. It is water resistant, fragrance, paba, oil and dye free. It contains "Hyaluronic Acid which hydrates. White Ginger and Passion flower soothe and soften the skin. Vitamins C and E help strengthen and add radiance; Soap Bark, Coconut and Plantain extract help, hydrate the skin and fight free radicals; Pomegranate and Kiwi fruit act as anti-oxidants that fight the visible signs of aging."

This is definitely a keeper!

Extrashade is available for purchase here for $39.99.

DISCLOSURE:  Extrashade did give me this product for free, but as always, all opinions are my own and HONEST. I was not compensated for this post. For more information please view my policies.

White Haute Heels

Last night I was flipping a magazine and too many pics of chics in white heels. I have always been so anti white shoes but, I was kinda liking some of them.

The key for me is less white so, the strappy  heels appeal to me more. Does that make sense?

Below are a few strappy and otherwise for your picks:

So, can you see yourself rocking white heels?

Budget friendly Boyfriend Jeans and How to wear them.

Boyfriend jeans have a undeniable comfort level and hotness at the same dang time. Sightly loose fit and cuffed at the leg dark or light, they are just cute. My fave way to wear them is with heels mostly because I am a heel chick. However, I have also worn them with flat sandals and it is still chic.

Here are a few great budget friendly options under $50:

Whether you choose to dress them up or down the choice is yours but, be creative. Check out two different looks below:

Klutch is basically Glossybox but, with health and wellness stuff. They promise at least $50 worth of stuff for less than $18 per month. My box is one of their Best of the Best boxes which is different from their normal monthly boxes.

Check it out:
