The first BB cream I ever tried was the Maybelline Dream fresh in Deep ($7) and I was not impressed. It made me look so washed out and ashy.
Impressed that this one has SPF30 |
Only SPF15 so I used my CeraVe underneath |
Very creamy and perfect match color wise |
Blended perfect and feels very lightweight |
So, I really like this product. I think it is very moisturizing and has great coverage. It melted into my skin very nicely I did set it with my Mac Blot powder. However, I feel like it may be too moisturizing for my oily skin but gives a nice dewy glow. I noticed I have been oilier than usually since I have been wearing it. Don't fret I keep my oil blotting paper on stand by. I should mention that I don't wear foundation at all so, to me this is provides nice coverage for small imperfections. Overall, I give this 4 stars out of five.
I have been hearing a lot about CC creams recently. CC creams are color control creams and are really just a pumped up BB cream. What I like is that they promise higher SPF's and better coverage with more nourishing ingredients.
Olay has one under their total effects line. I am sure more copies will follow suit soon. So, what do you think? Is BB for you?

I wonder if the product appeared to make you more oily becuase you paired it with the Cerave? The ingredients probably don't match, which made the BB cream breakdown on your skin leading to the oiliness...
ReplyDeleteThe Iman BB cream has a matte-ish finish. I'm surprised it did that.
Hi Kim, I was thinking the same thing so, this morning I used the BB cream alone and sadly I am still oily as all get out BUT I like it better without the cerave.
ReplyDeleteI have never before tried a BB Cream, but I am growing more and more intrigued by them due to all of the rave reviews. I'll have to see if I can find one that matches my skintone. :)
